About ICH

ICH is an international non-profit Association under Swiss law dedicated to promoting public health through worldwide harmonization to ensure that safe, effective, and high-quality medicines are developed, registered and maintained in the most resource-efficient manner. Harmonisation of technical and scientific requirements is achieved through the development of ICH Guidelines that are implemented by the regulatory authorities that are Members of ICH. Since its inception in 1990, ICH has gradually evolved to respond to the increasingly global face of pharmaceutical development and comprises currently 25 Members and 43 Observers from around the globe, and over 30 technical Working Groups (WGs).

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will focus on the coordination of ICH WGs, including the support of the ICH bi-annual meetings, as well as the coordination of the development of online training materials for ICH Guidelines.

Key responsibilities

Working Groups

  • Track WGs activities focusing on timelines for deliverables, follow-ups needed with ICH governing bodies
  • Prepare, attend and contribute to drafting minutes/reports of ICH governance bodies teleconferences and meetings
  • Coordinate the organisation of and co-lead the Briefing session & Rapporteur onboarding
  • Support Technical Writer Briefing Session
  • Draft WG Section towards ICH Press Release and other communication support based on compiled information and timelines
  • Coordinate the process for new nominations to existing WGs and reporting
  • Maintain the Coordinators and WGs Common SharePoint with support from the WG Assistant

Trainings

  • Support the establishment of Technical Reviewing Experts Groups
  • Coordinate the development and the review of training materials
  • Track progress of ongoing training projects and take actions when needed
  • Review and update when needed the Review Process document, template for comments on training materials, tracking table
  • Organise TC with ICH Training Subcommittee & Subgroups
  • Implement the Regulatory Training Needs survey in terms of data collection, processing & communication

Candidate Profile:

  • BS in Pharmacy and MS in International Public or Global Health
  • 2-3 years’ proven experience in international project coordination and process improvement
  • Well organised with ability to maneuver multiple parallel projects effectively
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral)
  • Self-driven, hands-on approach, target driven and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactively provide recommendations, insights and suggestions towards projects
  • Team player with ability to adapt seamlessly to diverse group dynamics with ability to operate autonomously
  • Proficiency MS-office, SharePoint, Project Management and AI tools
  • Available to start immediately or no later than 4 May 2026
  • Swiss residency
