This internship is part of an academic training program, a professional training program, or a socio-professional integration program, and must comply with the conditions set by the Employment Market Supervisory Council (CSME). The duration of the internship, as defined by the tripartite agreement, is 6 to 12 months at 100%

Context & mission
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a medical humanitarian organization founded in 1971 by doctors and journalists. The Swiss section was established in 1981 in Geneva. MSF provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. More than 95% of MSF’s funding comes from the generosity of private donors.
The General Fundraising Marketing Unit is part of the Communication and Fundraising Department. Its mission is to acquire and develop donations from private donors across Switzerland.
As an intern, you will work closely with team members and actively contribute to various digital fundraising activities.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Support the management of digital and multi-channel campaigns and projects (email, social media, web, etc.)
- Create and adapt content (emails, forms, simple visuals, web pages, etc.)
- Assist in implementing and optimizing donor journeys within the marketing tool
- Help monitor performance (KPIs, reporting, analysis, etc.) and suggest optimizations
- Monitor trends in digital fundraising, multichannel marketing, and the humanitarian sector
Your profile
- Have a tripartite internship agreement
- Education in digital marketing/communication or a related field
- Interest in digital fundraising and the humanitarian sector
- Excellent writing skills (French or German depending on location) and good English proficiency (German or French is an asset)
- Familiarity with digital tools (email marketing platforms, CMS, social media, CRM, etc.)
- Ability to analyze digital performance and track KPIs
- Analytical, organized, and proactive mindset
- Attention to detail and autonomy
- Team spirit
- Creativity and digital curiosity
- Interest in humanitarian principles and MSF’s mission
Terms of employment
- A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory
- 6 to 9 months, according to internship agreement
- Full time (40h/week)
- Based in Geneva or Zurich, Switzerland
- Start date : 04.05.206
- Gross monthly remuneration 2'000.- CHF
