About the role
We are looking for a Programme Officer to join our small team in Geneva.
This is a desk-based role focused on reading, reviewing, and improving reports from our members across Europe. You will help ensure that information is clear, accurate, and well structured.
This is not a field role. There is no project implementation or travel to project sites.
What you will do
- Read and review reports submitted by members
- Improve and rewrite content to make it clear and consistent
- Check data for accuracy and completeness
- Provide feedback to members on how to improve their reports
- Maintain and update programme data and systems
- Prepare summaries and simple analyses of programme results
- Support communication (emails, documents, translations)
- Help organise webinars, annual meeting and programme-related activities
Who we are looking for
Experience
- Recent graduate or early-career professional (0–3 years)
- Some experience through internships, studies, or volunteering
Education
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences, international relations, communications, languages)
Key skills
- Strong writing skills – you enjoy rewriting and improving texts
- Attention to detail – you notice mistakes and inconsistencies
- Structured and organised – you like working methodically
- Comfort with repetitive tasks – you can stay focused and consistent
- Digital skills – confident with Word, Excel, AI and online tools
- Clear communication – professional and patient when working with others
Languages
- Fluent in English and French (required)
- Strong writing ability in both
- at least one language is native (English or French)

Practical information
- Location: Geneva (office-based)
- Work rate: 100%, CDD 12 months with possibility to renew
