We Mean Business Coalition brings companies together with policymakers and partners to turn ambition into delivery on climate and energy.

Together we are building stable, competitive economies powered by clean electricity – in which companies and communities can thrive.

The Coalition was created by seven business-focused climate non-profits who joined forces with leading businesses in the run up to the UN Climate Conference COP21 in 2014. This show of private-sector support for ambitious policy helped give governments the confidence to deliver the landmark Paris Agreement.

Since then, we have mobilized leaders behind shared agendas and real-economy action, advocated for consistent, ambitious policy asks and amplified  a credible business voice at critical moments – from the call to ‘build back better’ after the COVID pandemic to supporting an agreement to transition away from fossil fuels.
