The Climate Action Accelerator is a new international non-profit initiative based in Geneva, with the aim of mobilizing a critical mass of intermediary organizations to scale up the implementation of climate solutions, keep global warming below 2°C and avoid the risk of dangerous runaway climate change. Partner of the UNFCCC's RACE TO ZERO campaign, the Initiative already includes 15 international aid and health organisations, including: Terre des hommes, the International Committee of the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders. By integrating them into a community of action, the initiative helps these organizations to reduce their own GHG emissions by at least half each decade. This effort is intended to contribute to a domino effect that encourages the exponential deployment of sustainable solutions throughout society.

Your responsabilities

• Contribute to fundraising activities
• Prospecting new fundraising targets, with a special focus on foundations in Switzerland and abroad; Corporate partners or sponsors; Partner organisations; Private donors in Switzerland and abroad (EU and outside EU); Potential institutional
  donors (ECHO, etc.)
• Write and submit fundraising proposals
• Represent the organisation before donors and prospects
• Support the fundraising efforts of partner organisations
• Contribute to cross-cutting projects

What we are looking for

• Educational background in management, business school, marketing, political science or equivalent;
• Additional training or education in sustainability/environment, ecological transition is an asset
• Trilingual in English, French and German (spoken and written) is required
• Motivated, open-minded and outgoing personality, who is not afraid to contribute new ideas
• Adherence to the values and projects of the initiative
