Permanent Mission of Chile to the UNOG

Description
  • Employment Type : Full-time (40 hours / week)
  • Unit : Permanent Mission of Chile to the UNOG
  • Location : Geneva
  • Contract term : Indefinite contract with a probationary period of 3 months
  • Salary : Gross salary CHF 5’037.16

Required Skills

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with the staff of the Mission as well as with external contacts.
Teamwork: Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the Mission's objectives; accepts constructive criticism, accepts constructive criticism and is willing to learn from others.
Planning and organising Skills: Efficiently uses time and resources to accomplish a task.; Follows up and adjusts planning and actions as necessary.

Educational background and Experience

  • Qualification: Must have secretarial or translator qualifications or equivalent.
  • Work experience: minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in administrative and secretarial functions.
  • Languages: Spanish (C1 level), English (B2 level) and French (C1 level).
  • Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). Web research abilities. Perfect command of Google tools, particularly management of Google Calendar and Google Drive.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Documentation processing and management.
  • Receptionist/telephonist.
  • Event planning and coordination.
  • Protocol support.
  • Management of the Mission's agenda.
  • Assistance to Chilean delegations.
  • Support for administrative procedures.
