Job Description
Climate Action Accelerator
Description
The Climate Action Accelerator is a new international non-profit initiative based in Geneva, aiming to mobilise a critical mass of intermediary organisations to scale up the implementation of climate solutions, keep global warming below 2°C and avoid the risk of dangerous runaway climate change. The Accelerator already counts over 20 partner organisations (in our three targeted sectors: aid, health and higher education). By integrating them into a community of action, the initiative helps these organisations reduce their GHG emissions by at least half each decade. This effort intends to foster a domino effect encouraging the exponential deployment of sustainable solutions throughout society. https://climateactionaccelerator.org/
The Solutions Unit identifies, analyses and proposes low-carbon solutions for the international aid sector. It works on measuring the carbon footprint of partner organisations and on the operationality of key solutions and actions on a variety of themes. It produces technical and general documents and provides recommendations. It helps to support partners and draw up environmental roadmaps.

Supporting the organisation of internal seminars, training workshops with external partners and webinars.
