Description
The SNC works towards a negotiated end to the conflict benefitting the Syrian people through dialogue, peaceful means and democracy in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
The Syrian Negotiation Commission - Geneva Office (SNCGO) is representing and supporting the SNC and its mandate by expanding and facilitating outreach to Syrians and international actors.
The SNCGO seeks to hire an Outreach Support Officer who will play a critical role in maintaining relationships with international community and supporting the diplomatic SNCGO's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting:
- Draft reports, briefings, and cables on relevant issues for SNC representatives.
- Provide accurate and timely assessments of international activities.
- Assist in drafting statements, speeches, and talking points for SNC representatives.
Liaison:
- Maintain the SNC database.
- Facilitate communication between the SNC, interlocutors and relevant stakeholders.
Supporting Diplomatic Engagements:
- Assist in preparing for meetings, including drafting agendas, briefing materials, and taking notes during discussions.
- Prepare other correspondence, as requested.
- Support the planning and execution of official visits.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in political science, International Relations, Law, or other relevant field.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in English, Arabic, French.
- Experience in diplomatic, governmental, or international organizations is preferred.
Starting date:
As soon as possible, ideally in September .
