The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) is requesting expressions of interest for an independent consultant to support IOE’s communications work on project Actions.

About the consultancy

IOE is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Communications Consultant. This external Consultant position will support messaging, multimedia content generation – video and text, and project management. The Consultant will develop and produce communication and advocacy multimedia products, including video series and photo galleries on different activities linked to IOE’s project and programme portfolio. On an ad-hoc basis, the Consultant will draft web stories, press releases and social media posts on any activities related to IOE’s project and programme portfolio.

  • Timeline: 15 January 2025 to 15 January 2026
  • Hours: The Consultant is expected to work 25 hours per week.
  • Location: Home-based with on-site presence when needed. Travel may be required.

Competencies:

The Consultant should have the following competencies:

  • Familiarity with international labour relations and the roles, responsibilities, and services provided by national employers’ organisations.
  • Proven track record of producing innovative multimedia products and crafting impactful messages for international organisations.
  • Extensive knowledge of producing multimedia for social media and external partners.
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Fluency in English and French (knowledge of Spanish is a strong asset)

Additional information

The Consultant will work independently and address statutory contributions in their country of residence. You must be registered as an independent consultant in your country of residence, affiliated with a university, or apply for this consultancy on behalf of a registered organisation/company.  This consultancy is within the framework of the International Organisation of Employers’ partnership with the European Commission.
