The International Council of Nurses is looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Humanitarian Programme Assistant Officer. This role is crucial in supporting the coordination of work of ICN’s Humanitarian Fund programmes. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and budgeting for various programmes.
- Help ensure the successful development and implementation of
programmes. - Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure smooth operations.
- Support risk assessments and track corrective actions.
- Review and analyze relevant documents and reports.
- Design and implement effective tracking tools, including KPIs.
- Consolidate and present data in activity progress reports.
- Develop and monitor communication materials and project records.
- Support budget creation and oversight.
- Provide support to stakeholders in programme implementation.
- Generate monthly update reports on programme development.
- Assist with committee meetings and related tasks.
- Handle administrative duties, including database updates and note-taking.
- Prepare funding agreements and handle disbursement requests.
- Follow up on payments and fund transfers.
- Assist with new requests and grant proposals.
- Facilitate programme audits.
Requirements
- Relevant educational background in administration, project management, or
a related field. - Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
