ESCA CancerSupport is a non-profit association whose mission is to provide emotional support, practical help, well-being activities and a welcoming community in English to anyone affected by cancer in the Lake Geneva region. We have seen increasing demand for cancer support services in English and we have exciting plans to further develop the organization to fulfil our vision that “No one faces cancer alone”.

Our future Communication & Awareness Manager (80%) shares our passion. In this position, you will take thelead on increasing awareness of ESCA CS in the community through effective communication, successful outreach programmes and focused events. You develop organizational strategies for communication, outreach, awareness and events, and lead on their implementation. You also oversee teams of volunteers to support work in all of these areas.

Demonstrable experience in communications, marketing, outreach and events, particularly in a non-profit context, is essential. The right candidate will have strong communication skills in English, and a good grasp of a variety of IT solutions for communications. You will be confident in managing and coordinating teams of volunteers. As part of our small team you will work in an exceptionally beautiful setting and benefit from our collaborative culture.
