We are looking for someone with fantastic communication and administration skills to help us grow our diverse membership. CHS Alliance members are committed to making aid work for people affected by crisis.

As a secretariat, we support our members to apply, measure and improve their work using the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). We offer services and convene members to learn from each other, as well as to advocate for the sector to better deliver on its commitments to people affected by crises.

If you are passionate about working to support a global network of humanitarian and development NGOs, have proven administration skills, and enjoy building relationships with people from all over the world, this could be the perfect job for you. 

What we expect from you

As the membership officer, you will join the team responsible for communicating and engaging with the 150+ members of the CHS Alliance.

Your tasks will be diverse and include processing membership applications, providing information to potential members/interested organisations, liaising with existing ones and supporting the membership dialogues.

Terms and Conditions

  • Reports to: Director of Communications, Membership and Outreach
  • Location:  London or Geneva
  • Time commitment: 80 – 100 % - open ended contract
  • Salary:  Current salary range for this position (gross annual) starts at GBP
  • 28’250 for London and 66’000CHF for Geneva.
  • Start Date:  mid July 2022
