Description

CHS Alliance is a global network of around 200 humanitarian and development organisations committed to making aid work better for people affected by crises through applying the Core Humanitarian Standard.

As our membership continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Network Engagement Manager with great convening skills to strengthen collaboration between members and harness the peer learning that exists within the network. 

Job purpose

The Network Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, engaging relationships between the global network of CHS Alliance members, to build and strengthen the CHS Alliance movement and help organisations to deliver on the CHS Commitments.

Key responsibilities at a glance:

  • Develop and execute a community engagement strategy, including encouraging members to be ambassadors for the Alliance and support their peers through embedding good practices on applying the CHS
  • Coordinate and help facilitate as appropriate the different communities of practice, and regional committees.
  • Event planning including online and offline meetings or events that bring the communities or regional committees together.
  • Communicate persuasively and help devise and execute plans to inform and gather actionable feedback from members.
  • Promotion of the CHS and representation of the CHS Alliance

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will be a positive team player, with a proven track record of facilitating culturally diverse groups and possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
