Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiations

About

The Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN) was founded in 2016 as a joint initiative of five humanitarian agencies: the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Switzerland, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.

The CCHN provides humanitarian professionals with a platform to learn and exchange around the topic of frontline negotiation. It contributes to scientific research around negotiation processes, tools and strategies and promotes collaboration across the sector.

It is hosted by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland.
