Description
This role is a key member of The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF), providing support to its leadership team and to various projects.
Responsibilities include a range of activities related to administrative, operational, knowledge management and communications support to the projects that requires working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
This position is remote and will be supervised by the Project Manager.

- The insights generated by and with learners are gathered, analyzed, and shared, for the benefit of communities and partners to scale and develop truly ground-tested and evidence-based policies and programmes.
Responsibilities
- Assist relevant projects with implementation of specific work plan activities as needed, including but not limited to peer learning events & networks, small grant and stipends disbursement management, setting up and managing seed funding for small projects, and coordinating learning and implementation activities across multiple countries.
- Support setting up and managing internal and external meetings, including note-taking or compiling notes from various sources.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes, ensuring clear task ownership
- Track work plans, team tasks and assist with schedule management
- Assist with knowledge management on two or more projects.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all team members.
- Create and maintain complete, accurate project documentation, plans and reports.
- Support proposal writing and application processes for fund-raising.
- Analyze large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data and prepare event slide decks in both English and French.
- Assist with ad hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree as a minimum with at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in an administrative or project management role for a complex and fast-paced organization;
- Able to work well as part of a remote team, and to work independently;
- Strong organizational skills, able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality, and able to navigate competing priorities;
- Fluent in oral and written English and French languages (this is non-negotiable); proficiency in other languages a plus;
- Strong digital skills; high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (including use of macros and style sheets); Will need to learn: Slack, Notion, Google platforms, and Dropbox; Experience with the following will be a significant plus: R (statistical analysis), Tableau (data visualization), Nvivo (qualitative research coding); and other research tools;
- Able to support multiple individuals and projects, including calendar & meeting management, tracking work plans & team tasks, and knowledge management;
- Interest in learning about public health issues, particularly immunization;
- Able to work remotely in a culturally diverse environment.

- Salary: competitive, at market rate
- Hours: 40 per week (holiday: 25 days p/a plus Swiss and Geneva holidays)
- Contract: 12 months, renewal contingent upon performance and availability of funding
