Description
The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea is hiring a positive responsible and well-organized person who will work as administrative staff on a long-term basis.
Main responsibilities:
● Assist members of the Mission in the performance of the official duties of the Mission
● Provide administrative support for diplomats, especially:
- Communicate and liaise with the real estate agencies to issue lease contracts, organize housing inspections, and in case of problems within the accommodations
- Facilitate various public services
- Liaise with moving companies and customs when new diplomats arrive
● Participate in organizing the receptions/events held by the Mission
● Draft written correspondences and other administrative documents
● Translate the documents of the administrative division (English-French/French-English)
● Perform a range of other tasks requested by the administrative division
Requirements:
● Bachelor degree
● Experience in administrative work, preferably from a Permanent Mission, Embassy, or an international organization
● Excellent command of spoken and written English and French
● Flexible and collaborative attitude with a talent for multitasking
● International experience, preferably in the form of employment by a foreign company or organization
Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or Administrative Assistant will be considered an advantage and knowledge of Korean culture will be an asset.
Normal working hours are 9:00-18:00(40 hours per week)
