About the Role
The International Nursing Review is seeking an Associate Editor to join our editorial team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing professional or academic with a strong background in research, writing, and publication processes to contribute to one of the world’s most respected nursing journals, fostering meaningful dialogue on pressing global healthcare issues.
As an Associate Editor, you will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial team to uphold the journal’s standards for quality and impact.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing manuscript submissions, including initial review and editorial assessment
- Collaborating with peer reviewers to ensure thorough, fair, and timely reviews
- Contributing to editorial board meetings and strategy discussions
- Supporting authors to enhance the quality and clarity of their submissions
- Ensuring alignment with the journal’s focus on advancing nursing knowledge and practice on an international scale
Requirements
- A nurse by background with a track record of publications and/or editorial experience is a strong asset
- Excellent grasp of research methodologies and ethical publishing practices
- Outstanding English written communication and analytical skills
- Commitment to promoting the global nursing community and evidence-based practice
