BACKGROUND
The SNC Geneva Office is furthering the cause of the Syrian Negotiation Commission (SNC) by representing and supporting the SNC and its mandate by expanding and facilitating outreach to Syrians and international actors, in full alignment with United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2254.The SNC Geneva Office works to ensure that Syrian voices are represented in international forums, advocates for human rights, and supports efforts that contribute to sustainable peace and stability in Syria. Due to the recent development in the Syrian context, the SNC Geneva Office will be closing end of April 2025.
POSITION SUMMARY
The SNCGO is looking for a qualified and experienced Project Consultant to support our ongoing closure process. The consultant will assist in project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), donor reporting, preparation for external audits, and liaison with international donors and stakeholders.
SCOPE OF WORK
Coordinate project management activities ensuring timely delivery of project
- Prepare and oversee project reporting, ensuring compliance with donor
- Support preparation for external audits, including documentation, record-keeping, and communication with auditors.
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities to assess and report on project
- Liaise and maintain effective communication with international donors, partners, and
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience working with international donors and
- Strong background in preparing for external audits and project
- Proven skills in project management, including planning, budgeting, and
- Expertise in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and methodologies of political work
- Experience drafting comprehensive, clear, and timely project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- Fluency in English; Arabic language would be an

Support on other tasks as defined by SNC Geneva Office
REPORTING
The consultant will report to the Head/DH of the office.
DURATION
The initial consultancy agreement will be from the beginning of March until the end of April 2025.
DUTY STATION
Remotely (online) with the ability and willingness to travel to Geneva, as needed.
