Description

Gold Standard is seeking creative, collaborative, and conscientious digital design support to help manage our design activities for a six-month contract to cover maternity leave. This includes supporting a website re-development project to ensure our systems provide us with additional flexibility, and scalability and are future-proofed in line with our technology developments.

About Gold Standard: 

Gold Standard is a not-for-profit standards body and thought leader that promotes the best that can be achieved in climate and development projects. It was established in 2003 by WWF and other international NGOs as a best practice standard to ensure projects that reduced carbon emissions under the UN’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) also delivered sustainable development benefits. Gold Standard has now broadened its scope to corporate climate action and sustainable finance and with its broad NGO Supporter Network and 1400+ projects in over 80 countries, is creating billions of dollars of shared value from climate and development action worldwide.

What you will be doing: 

  • Support with content migration in line with new website design and potential new content development (infographics, interactive SVGs).
  • Content maintenance of Gold Standard main website.
  • Work with the technical team to upload or amend content to the Gold Standard for the Global Goals website as/when required and support with any general ongoing maintenance.
  • Build and distribute email communications in line with brand
  • Social media assets design related to the latest communication topics
  • Potential design reports and thought leadership pieces for download and print
  • Provide general communication design support when required and assist in other miscellaneous tasks

What you will bring to the role:  

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of different CMS systems including, Drupal, WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp, Formstack, or equivalent. Knowledge of web languages including HTML, CSS, and Javascript is an asset.
  • Strong brand awareness and interest in emerging trends and technologies
  • Languages: the working language of the Foundation is English; fluency required; mother tongue preferred; other languages an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Good collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with a range of staff based all around the world
  • The ability to work legally in regions stated
