Its Ecumenical Formation Institute and Hotel & Conference Centre, Le Château de Bossey, (www.bossey.ch), with 90 guest rooms, and 10 meeting rooms, located between Nyon and Geneva, is looking for a :
Customer Service Assistant at 100%
Reservations and direct sales:
- Taking reservations of hotel and meeting rooms, keeping the reservation system up to date
- Providing information to customers on the hotel environment and local resources
- Promotion and direct sales actions (offers/contracts for seminars & banquets), follow-up and reminders on offers/prospects
Customer Relations and Logistics:
- Welcoming individual clients, groups, students… and registration in the Fidelio PMS system
- Checking the meeting rooms before arrivals
- Preparing arrivals and checking reservations before the arrival of students, customers, groups, seminars and restaurant clients
- Follow-up during the whole stay of customers (service records, answers to information requests, invoicing)
- Daily communication and preparation of the function sheets for the different departments
- Closing customer invoices, seminars, banquet, in collaboration with the finance department
Reception Administration:
- Management of cash funds and cash flow at the reception
- Keeping a transport schedule (clients, students…)
- Daily closing of accounts and back up of digital information
- Keeping the reception area tidy (inside and outside of offices and cabinets)
Profile:
- A minimum of one year hotel experience in a similar position
- Ability to work in French and English. German would be an asset
- Preferably studies in hospitality business (Ecole hôtelière ou de tourisme) or equivalent
- Ability to prioritize and handle competing deadlines
- Open minded and positive attitude
- A good sense of hospitality and attention to details
- Ability to work in an open space and to multitask
- Very good coordination skills
- Good level of computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet
- Fidelio Front Office Knowledge, an asset
- To own a car is highly recommended due to the location of the Ecumenical Institute
