Detailed task description follows the GCERF process chart.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assisting with GCERF portfolios: Responsible for liaising with grantees in portfolios and supporting the Country Managers as requested (e.g., administrative support, travel, etc). Detailed task description follows the GCERF process chart.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Research and Communications: Responsible for monitoring in-country developments, conducting research, providing regular in-depth analysis for the country manager, attending, and reporting back on relevant events in Geneva, and coordinating preparation of internal and external communication updates on countries.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ol start=\"2\">\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h4>If supporting the Portfolio Management Unit Head:<\/h4>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Quality assurance: Supporting the Head of Portfolio Management Unit in ensuring quality assurance of the unit management and portfolios.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Supporting portfolio coordination: Responsible for supporting the Portfolio Management Head in end-to-end grant coordination of GCERF global portfolio.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Research and Communications: Responsible for supporting the Head on diverse research and coordinating preparation of internal and external communication updates on countries or PMU team in general.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><strong>Qualifications <\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<h4><strong>Knowledge\/Experience\/Qualifications <\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Master\u2019s degree in -Anthropology, International Development, , Social Sciences, Peacebuilding, Conflict Transformation, or a related field<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Previous experience in working in an international organisation on supporting grant or project management (minimum 6 months) or local organisation (minimum 12 months)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Previous experience in working in GCERF partner countries or in any developing countries<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Previous experience or demonstrated interest in the prevention of radicalisation to violent extremism will be an asset<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><strong>Technical skills<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Knowledge and understanding of programme design and development, project cycle management, and financial budgeting and reporting<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Analytical and research skills working with qualitative data is required<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Some knowledge of the socio-political environment and civil society organisations is an asset<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience of working alongside a wide range of grantees with skill and sensitivity, including community-based and grassroots organisations in an asset.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fluency in English and French is required<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Local language spoken in any of the GCERF partner country, or Russian, or Portuguese is an asset<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><strong>Personal skills and attributes <\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Create and innovate<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Seek excellence<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Drive for results<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Foster teamwork<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Communicate effectively<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Demonstrate good judgement, informed and fair decision-making<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Entrepreneurial spirit<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><strong>Interdependencies<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<h4><strong>What this role must provide for key working relationships <\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<em>Country Managers (primary)<\/em>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Collaborate with Country Managers in proactively supporting operational activities linked to grant making and management<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<em>Grantees (primary)<\/em>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Under the guidance of a specific Country Manager, work closely with grantees to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant grant making and management<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<em>Resource Mobilisation team (primary)<\/em>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Support Country Managers with background research and information for input to donor proposals and reports<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<em>Grants Finance (primary)<\/em>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Contribute to GCERF reviews of workplans and first level of consolidation with the grantee budget and financial report<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<em>Performance &amp;
