The overall purpose of the evaluation is to examine the results achieved as agreed by IDA and NORAD, the processes of change induced by the project, and generate learning on what works to advance the rights of persons with disabilities, including underrepresented groups, in Sub-Saharan Africa.\r\n\r\nIn December 2019, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) and the International Disability Alliance (IDA) signed a Grant Agreement regarding the project \u201cMaking DPOs equal partners of inclusive Development in Africa\u201d (reference n.: RAF-19\/0046, hereinafter \u201cthe Grant\u201d, \u201cthe Project\u201d, or \u201cthe Agreement\u201d).\r\n\r\nThe Project aimed to increase the influence of the disability rights movement to shape the development agenda in Sub-Saharan Africa towards the full and effective realization of human rights of persons with disabilities, thus leading the target group, i.e. persons with disabilities, including from underrepresented groups, to enjoy equal human rights and full participation in society.\r\n\r\nThe overall objective is expected to be achieved through three outputs, namely:\r\n

  2. Technical skill capacity development.<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Evidence-based accountability.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nThe Project has a duration of three years (2020-2022) and an overall budget of NOK 40,000,000 (forty million Norwegian Kroner). IDA is the recipient grantee, and the activities are jointly implemented by the Alliance\u2019s Secretariat and six (6) of its members, namely:\r\n
