Its Operational Centre in Geneva is responsible for medical assistance programmes in 24 countries.\r\n\r\nThe Security Implementer will be deployed to different missions according to operational priorities across all MSF-OCG mission portfolio: Sahel, Middle East, East and Central Africa.\r\n<h4><strong>Scope of responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>To support MSF staff with identification of threats &amp; analysis of risk levels in mission coordination\u2019s and projects. This will in turn help teams to identify informed and nuanced risk exposure<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To implement security plans including risk analysis, risk reduction measures (S.O.Ps &amp; site protection), incident management and contingency planning in MSF mission coordination\u2019s and projects.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To conduct theoretical and practical (simulations &amp; \u201con site\u201d) trainings for risk reduction measures, incident management and contingency planning.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To coach and educate MSF staff (international &amp; national) to understand the environment of warfare within which they are working and risk management tools to minimize MSF teams\u2019 exposure.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To support the Security Advisor in developing standardized OCG Security management formats and tools and trainings including their implementation in missions\/projects\/HQ.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Your Profile<\/h3>\r\n<h4><em>Experience<\/em><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>More than 4 years of experience working in conflict areas<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience with MSF or a similar NGO is an asset<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><em>Languages<\/em><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Fluent in French and English<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Arabic and\/or Spanish are an asset<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><em>Personal Abilities<\/em><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ability to interact with and coach teams<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><em>Skills\/ Technical competencies<\/em><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Experienced on context analysis, threat\/risk analysis and good understanding exposure to risk in Humanitarian operations<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strong technical knowledge on Applied Security: physical security, transport, communications.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strong coaching skills regarding implementation of security management and Applied Security technical skills<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience in developing training strategies, procedures and tools, as well as organizing and facilitating workshops.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Clear understanding and alignment with humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience in Critical Incident response is an asset<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Terms of Employment<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Full-time position 100% (40h\/week)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fixed-term contract, 12 months<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Working place : Geneva, with field visits<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ideal start date: September 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2022<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Gross monthly salary: from CHF 7\u2019639.- to CHF 8\u2019765.- (salary commensurate with equivalent experience and internal salary grid)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>How to apply<\/h3>\r\nCandidates submit their application following the requirements:\u00a0 CV 2 p. max. \u2013 letter of motivation 1p. max. \u2013 in French or English.\r\n\r\n<strong>Deadline for application is August 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/medecinssansfrontieressuisse.recruitee.com\/o\/security-implementer\"><strong>APPLY HERE<\/strong><\/a>\r\n\r\n<strong>The applications will be treated confidentially.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<em>At MSF, we are committed to an inclusive culture that encourages and supports the diverse voices of our staff members.
