It was established as a standalone Swiss Foundation in January 2019, and is now active in 11 cities around the world.\r\n<h3>Summary of Position<\/h3>\r\nC\/Can is embarking on a major project to implement an organisational wide project\r\nmanagement platform for quality assurance in the planning, execution of monitoring and\r\nevaluation of global and city projects.\r\n<h3>The specific benefits identified with this project are:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A platform will facilitate information flow internally between functions<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Allow a transparent overview of all projects<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Improved planning and scheduling for all ongoing projects within the organisation<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support longer term planning for projects<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The platform will become the single repository of project and MEL information<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Allow better collaboration and exchange of information between team members<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enhance productivity and capture institutional knowledge.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Thoroughly understand the operational processes within C\/Can to be able to review the currently available project data and translate it into usable data for the PM Tool developers.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Collaborate with the C\/Can team in the co-design of the database architecture to\r\nensure the Project Management platform meets the needs of the current processes and provides the information required by the different teams across the organisation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Act as the primary liaison person between the C\/Can Project Management Taskforce and the designated focal point of the project management IT-platform developer.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ensure the needs and requirements documented are tracked and implemented by the IT-platform developer.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Develop and execute a project plan that includes a timeline with milestones and KPIs.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Develop a training curriculum for effective roll-out across C\/Can and change\r\nmanagement strategy.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Plan and execute a Data Migration plan that ensures high-quality data and reliable\r\nreporting once the system is live.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Present regular updates to the project\u2019s Project Taskforce group to make decisions, approve changes and share updates on costs, timeline and progress.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Selection Criteria<\/h3>\r\n<h4>Required<\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>At least 5-years\u2019 experience in Project Management activities with proven experience implementing similar projects.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Detail oriented, with structured, organised, methodical planning skills.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience working with IT-platforms including Salesforce.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Outstanding communications skills with experience in translating and presenting\r\ncomplex IT-related topics to non-technical audiences.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Track record of developing and implementing training for platform roll-out.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Fluent in English (written and spoken).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Capacity to travel.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>Desirable<\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Certified in Project Management and track record in Change Management at the\r\norganisational level.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Good knowledge of international organisations\u2019 information management processes.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Intermediate knowledge of Spanish.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>How to apply<\/h3>\r\nQualified candidates may submit their application, including a Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter to: recruitment@citycancerchallenge.org.
