{"id":41701,"date":"2022-11-14T10:17:35","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T10:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.cagi.ch\/fr\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=41701"},"modified":"2022-12-03T00:41:15","modified_gmt":"2022-12-03T00:41:15","slug":"organisation-internationale-des-employeurs-ioe-geneva-consultant-independent-consultant-on-just-transition-policies","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.cagi.ch\/fr\/?post_type=job_listing&p=41701","title":{"rendered":"Independent consultant on Just Transition policy planning and recommendations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International Organisation of Employers (IOE)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":143,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","job_listing_type":[140],"job_listing_category":[57],"job_listing_location":[90],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-41701","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-expired","hentry","job_listing_type-consultant","job_listing_category-administration","job_listing_location-geneva"],"metas":{"job-description":"<h3>About the consultancy:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Review the ILO Just Transition Guidelines and their priority policy areas through an employers\u2019 lens.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Analyse the practical aspects of the policy recommendations and how employers\u2019 organisations can use this framework for member support.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Analyse and review the landscape of \u2018green\u2019skills and skills for a just transition, providing analysis of the definition, types of skills, leading institutions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Define priorities for a coherent and efficient skills agenda and how employers can work with governments on implementation, anticipation and planning of appropriate skills frameworks for a smooth transition.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide an overview of the link between NDCs and skills policies, how can they be better integrated and to what extent are skills included in current NDCs.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Based on the main messages, challenges and opportunities, prepare a summary of recommendations and priorities for employers\u2019 organisations and governments to be included in the same document.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Timeline: <\/strong>November 2022 to January 2023\r\n\r\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Home based.\r\n<h3><strong>Competencies: <\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Expertise on global climate policy and governance, the linkages between employment, skills, economic growth and climate adaptation and mitigation as well as a good understanding of just transition as a concept and business involvement in this space.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent knowledge of private sector and\/or a great experience with employers\u2019 networks and business<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent research skills and a good command of tools like Microsoft Word<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ability to distill complex information clearly and concisely.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Good communication and ability to clearly structure inputs, feedback and comments as well as to efficiently handle versioning of documents<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Additional information:<\/strong> The consultant will work independently and address statutory contributions in their country of residence.
