{"id":42374,"date":"2022-11-17T12:36:25","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T12:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.cagi.ch\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=42374"},"modified":"2022-11-26T00:41:28","modified_gmt":"2022-11-26T00:41:28","slug":"union-for-international-cancer-control-geneva-fixed-term-contract-world-cancer-day-campaign-assistant","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.cagi.ch\/fr\/?post_type=job_listing&p=42374","title":{"rendered":"World Cancer Day Campaign Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Union for International Cancer Control<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":134,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","job_listing_type":[97],"job_listing_category":[36],"job_listing_location":[90],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-42374","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-expired","hentry","job_listing_type-fixed-term-contract","job_listing_category-communication","job_listing_location-geneva"],"metas":{"job-description":"<h3>Summary of the position<\/h3>\r\nWe are looking for a World Cancer Day Campaign Assistant to join the UICC Marketing and Communications team in Geneva, Switzerland to provide instrumental support in delivering the 2023 World Cancer Day campaign.\r\n<h3>Main responsibilities<\/h3>\r\nResponsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Delivering an excellent level of service to our World Cancer Day supporters, including:<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Keeping on top of the World Cancer Day inbox on a daily basis (drafting and responding to emails, answering questions, trouble shooting for supporters)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Responding to World Cancer Day inquiries via the online chat<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The timely publication of events and activities on the Map of Activities on worldcancerday.org<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Editing and publishing user-generated stories on worldcancerday.org<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ensuring the quality of all World Cancer Day communication materials through proofreading campaign\r\nmaterials, promotional collateral and various communication pieces<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Supporting press and media activities through desk research and fact-checking<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Taking the lead in community management across all WCD social media channels in close\r\ncollaboration with the social media specialist<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Providing support in social media engagement and posting (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>YouTube, Tiktok), content scheduling, monitoring and influencer outreach and follow up<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assisting with the robust reporting of the campaign, including monitoring and documenting of World\r\nCancer Day activities and events through desk research<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Help conduct keyword research for online content and AdWords optimisation<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assisting with general content creation for social media, email communications and news article writing<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Collaborating with the Communications team by providing general support with World Cancer Dayrelated tasks where needed<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Position requirements<\/h3>\r\nThe successful candidate will fill a 80% role (equivalent to 4 days a week) and should be able to start on\r\nWednesday 1 December.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Experience in an area relevant to the job description e.g. communications, marketing, international\r\nrelations, public health, etc.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience in social media community management<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Demonstrated fluency in English - written and spoken is highly valued;
