Its Operational Centre in Geneva is responsible for medical assistance programmes in 24 countries.\r\n\r\nThe operational human resources partner (HROP) is a strategic player in the HR function at the heart of the cell. She\/he knows all the projects of the cell and actively participates in the operational decision-making process in connection with the strategy and objectives of the missions and the projects.\r\n\r\nAs a strategic partner in operations and as a member of the HR department, he\/she participates in the definition of the objectives and the operational strategy of the missions supported by his\/her cell and the objectives of the various HR units at headquarters, while having a transversal vision of the institutional challenges, a global vision of the HR challenges of the missions supported by his\/her cell and beyond and a constant attention to the implementation of the OCG Strategic Plan.\r\n\r\nShe\/he is the guarantor of the consistency and quality of the HR response to operational needs while respecting the contextual specificities of OCG's HR missions and vision. She\/he relays the HR needs and operational issues in the missions to the other units of the HR department at headquarters as well as to the HR department.\r\n<h4>Main responsibilities<\/h4>\r\nWhile not being affected to a cell, the second polyvalent HROP supports the entities where specific modus operandi are piloted, namely for the missions in Uganda, Greece, DPRK, Kiribati (the list can evolve).\r\n\r\nFor these missions, he\/she:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Guides the HR counterparts to define the HR strategy of the mission, the action plan to implement this strategy and the indicators to manage it and measure its achievement.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Supports them to define, adapt, plan and supervise the implementation of the mission's HR policies and ensure that they are consistent with the context, operational and institutional challenges and HR strategy.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nIn addition to the support to these missions, the HROP polyvalent will play a key role in the HROP unit by:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Providing specific data related to the HROP challenges (ad hoc request of other fili\u00e8re, typology, preparation of POA and MYR to support the HROP, dashboards, the follow up of the PM\/2M ambitions of the HR fili\u00e8re, preparation of the tour du monde with the cell assistant and the maintenance of corresponding documents) and ensuring HROP key documents are translated and safeguarded in Kompas to be made accessible to the HROP and the missions (knowledge management).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Supporting the internationally mobile staff matching process from the operational side by compiling the demand coming from the missions and sharing it with the pool managers, ensuring fluidity in the process and proposing adaptations, working on the process improvement via the modification of the HR updates, supervising the compilation of the HR restrictions for internationally mobile staff.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Taking part in follow up of the \u201cHR fili\u00e8re\u201d, mainly by continuing the work on the HRCo onboarding and the HR onboarding in general with the LnD partners to improve the processes in place and participating in the implementation of an \u201cfield HR community of practice\u201d.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The second HROP polyvalent will also be the HR focal point for the training content development in the HR fili\u00e8re, in line with the field HR competencies learning and development strategy that has been .
