FUNCTIONS<\/h3>\r\nThe main responsibilities of the Travel Intern will be the following:\r\n
    \r\n \t
  1. Travel<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
      \r\n \t
    • In support of the travel officer, address travel requests in a timely manner for current IMPACT staff and new recruits, prioritizing as needed<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Coordinate with other departments (HR, Finance, logistics) to provide mandatory travel information and documents<\/li>\r\n \t
    • In consequence of COVID-19, manage staff deployments to field\/from field as restrictions are lifted<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Book flights, train tickets and hotels for IMPACT staff, in coordination with our partner travel agency<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Advise, support and follow-up visa applications, where required;<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Support the organization of bi-monthly induction sessions for new staff prior to their deployment<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n2. Support to travel policy<\/strong>\r\n
        \r\n \t
      • Ensuring the compliance of IMPACT travel policy<\/li>\r\n \t
      • Based on practice outlined above, contribute to potential developments within IMPACT travel policy<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

        REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\r\n
          \r\n \t
        • Studies in Logistics \/ Procurement \/ Administration or equivalent (Bachelor\/Master)<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Fluent in French and English;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Capacity to work independently and under pressure;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Good capacity to learn and apply process and procedures;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Ability to juggle with multiple priorities.<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Organized person, with attention to detail and rigor;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Interest in the humanitarian field;<\/li>\r\n \t
