The ideal candidate is a native English speaker who recently completed a postgraduate degree in International Law or International Relations. Some relevant professional qualification and\/or work experience is required, as is familiarity with and an interest in international law and international organisations.\r\n

As a Junior Legal Fellow\/Intern<\/strong>, your tasks will involve:<\/h3>\r\n
    \r\n \t
  • Analysing the provisions of ILO Conventions and Recommendations and various related documents<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Researching the development of ILO international labour standards<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Drafting summaries to reflect the various positions taken by the ILO standards supervisory bodies and ILO tripartite constituents on the ILO instruments<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Updating and organising the online legal database with new information<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Preparing documents for the discussions of cases and complaints before the ILO standards supervisory bodies<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    Your skills and experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n
      \r\n \t
    • Fluency in English (native speaker), knowledge in French and Spanish would be an asset<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Ability to draft in clear and concise manner<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Excellent command of MS Office tools<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and with strong attention to detail<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Flexible, versatile and proactive<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Dynamic and resilient<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Familiarity with and a strong interest in international law and institutions<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n
        \r\n \t
      • Hold a postgraduate degree in Law, Political Science or International Relations<\/li>\r\n \t
      • Valid Swiss work permit<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

        • Starting date: 1 April 2023<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Based in Geneva<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Full time (40 hours) per week<\/li>\r\n \t
