Activities and\r\ntasks according to the GCERF process chart.\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">Research and Communications: <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">Monitor in-country developments, conduct research, provide regular in-depth analysis for the Country Manager, attend and report on relevant\r\nevents in Geneva, and coordinating the preparation of internal and external communication updates on countries<\/span>\r\n<h4><strong> <span class=\"fontstyle0\">Qualifications\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Knowledge\/Experience\/Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Some knowledge and understanding of programme design and development, project cycle management, and financial budgeting and reporting\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Analytical and research skills working with qualitative data\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Some knowledge of the socio-political environment and civil society organisations is an asset\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Experience of working alongside a wide range of grantees with skill and sensitivity, including community-based and grassroots organisations is an asset.\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">For a Junior Associate: Previous experience in working in an international or grant making organisation supporting grant or project management (ideally minimum 6 months) or\r\nlocal organisation (ideally minimum 12 months), or ability to demonstrate other transferable experience\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Previous experience or demonstrated interest in the prevention of radicalisation to violent extremism will be an asset\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Previous working or lived experience in GCERF partner countries or in conflict affected areas\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Ideally Masters degree in Peacebuilding, Conflict Transformation, International Development, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or a related field.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>Language skills<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u2022 <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">Fluency in French and English (level C1 - C2). Interns receive a stipend of CHF 2000 per month. JA\u2019s who meet the criteria and have some solid work experience are remunerated CHF 3,500 per month.
