\r\n\r\nWe are currently looking for a Finance Control Officer to support our IMPACT Initiatives team in Geneva.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nDepartment<\/strong>:\u00a0IMPACT Initiatives - Finance\r\n\r\nPosition<\/strong>:\u00a0Finance Control Officer<\/strong>\r\n\r\nContract duration<\/strong>: Open-ended\r\n\r\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Geneva - International Environment House\r\n\r\nStarting Date<\/strong>: ASAP\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n
\r\n\r\nThe Finance Control Officer will be supervised by the Head of Finance. The Finance Control Officer will be responsible for supporting IMPACT\u2019s teams in the financial follow-up of all ongoing projects. This implies the following tasks:\r\n
    \r\n \t
  1. Budgeting (25%)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
      \r\n \t
    • Support in preparation and review of project budgets in coordination with IMPACT\u2019s country focal points, IMPACT\u2019s Grants Management Department and ACTED;<\/li>\r\n \t
    • Preparation and review of budget amendments;<\/li>\r\n \t
    • At grant signature\u2019s, preparation of project financial sheets for validation.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
        \r\n \t
      1. Budget Follow-Up (BFU) (55%)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
          \r\n \t
        • Ensure compliance to accounting principles and local rules and regulations;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Follow up and analysis and review of expenses (budget follow-up) for ongoing field-based projects together with IMPACT\u2019s Country Focal Points and any concerned staff;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Preparation and analysis of BFUs for all Global projects;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Ensure proper allocations of all IMPACT\u2019s costs in the accountancy in line with donor rules and requirements, in alignment with the allocation tables planned with IMPACT\u2019s Country focal points;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Serve as Finance\u2019s point of contact for country offices, providing day-by-day financial oversight and supporting and responding to inquiries and requests;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Contribute to maintaining up-to-date the monthly follow up of the overall budget of the organization;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • Ensure sharing of information with finance focal points of all IMPACT\u2019s partners in this process.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
            \r\n \t
          1. Financial reporting (20%)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
              \r\n \t
            • Preparation of financial reports for all ongoing projects as per donor deadlines;<\/li>\r\n \t
            • In liaison with the Audit focal point, validation of all financial aspects of audit reports received by partners.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

              REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
              \r\n
                \r\n \t
              • Education<\/strong>\u00a0Master studies in Business\/Finance\/Administration or equivalent;<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Years of experience<\/strong>\u00a0At least 4 years professional experience in a similar finance position<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Professional experience<\/strong>\u00a0Experience in finance control, budgeting, following budgets and financial reporting<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Language skills<\/strong>\u00a0Fluent in French and English;<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Organizational skills<\/strong>\u00a0Organized person, with attention to detail and rigor. Capacity to work independently and under pressure. Ability to manage competing demands in a timely manner;<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Motivation<\/strong>\u00a0Interest and motivation to work in the humanitarian field;<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Communication skills<\/strong>\u00a0Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to listen and connect with staff deployed in the field;<\/li>\r\n \t
              • Software skills<\/strong>\u00a0Perfect knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n
                  \r\n \t
                • For this position, gross salary of 5\u2019490 CHF monthly (before income tax). NB \u2013 IMPACT salaries are strictly determined by our salary grid depending on the grade of the position and the level of education and experience of staff. A contribution to medical insurance of 450 CHF per month is already included in the salary figure.<\/li>\r\n \t
                • Insurance covering professional and non-professional accidents throughout the period of employment with IMPACT<\/li>\r\n \t
                • Health insurance, life insurance and repatriation assistance in case of field visits\/temporary deployments<\/li>\r\n \t
