Our teams localise and destroy explosive remnants of war, conduct awareness campaigns, and develop socioeconomic assistance projects for victims of accidental explosions. FSD currently employs around 700 people on four continents and has been active in over 30 countries since its foundation in 1997. Under the direct supervision of FSD\u2019s Head of fundraising, he\/she will contribute to FSD\u2019s fundraising efforts through two major activities:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Identification of potential funding sources and drafting grant proposals as part of its philanthropic program.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Management of Swiss-German donor relations.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\r\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\r\n<div class=\"column\">\r\n<h4><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The fundraising officer\u2019s main responsibilities will be as follow:<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Getting familiar with mine action and accustomed to specialised terminology.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct research and identify funding opportunities amongst potential donors for FSD\u2019s projects. Particularly governmental and non-governmental organisations, foundations, and companies.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Write and design grant applications and reports in line with potential donors\u2019 requirements and FSD brand guidelines.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Nurture relationship with FSD\u2019s donors.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Contribute to updating and managing CRM.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Translate documents to German and French.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Manage donor relations in German (answering calls, responding to emails...)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the implementation of fundraising campaigns.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\r\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\r\n<div class=\"column\">\r\n<h4><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nThe ideal candidate should showcase the following key skills:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Fluent in German and French, both spoken and written (min. C1 level). Proficiency in English would be a clear advantage.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent written and oral communication with proven copywriting skills.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Good knowledge of computer tools (MS Office, etc.).
