Financial Analysis:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Conduct regular financial analysis to assess\u00a0Gold Standard\u00a0financial performance, trends, and highlight areas for improvement.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Prepare\u00a0periodic\u00a0financial reports and variance analysis.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide insightful analysis and recommendations by Gold Standard's activity type to support decision-making on financial resource allocation, cost optimization, and revenue generation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Perform financial\u00a0modelling\u00a0and scenario analysis to evaluate the\u00a0financial impact\u00a0of potential\u00a0strategic\u00a0initiatives,\u00a0investment\u00a0or\u00a0any\u00a0other relevant\u00a0changes.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Develop financial ratios and metrics to measure organization's financial performance.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n2. Long-term\u00a0Financial Planning:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Develop and implement cyclical, long-term financial planning process aligned with organization's financial strategy and overall strategic objectives.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Collaborate with strategy team, external advisors, department heads and market intelligence to prepare financial models and scenario analysis based on Gold Standard's medium to long-term strategic objectives.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Monitor and evaluate organization's progress against long-term financial goals, identify variances, and provide recommendations to achieve financial targets.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n3. Financial Forecasting:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for certain types of income and cost categories, with the focus on organization's certification activities.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Analyze\u00a0financial trends, market conditions, and funding sources to provide\u00a0accurate\u00a0forecasts and predictions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Develop KPIs for forecasting accuracy and work against reaching annual accuracy targets.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n4. Stakeholder Engagement:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Collaborate effectively with program managers, department heads\u00a0and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Communicate financial information and analysis in a clear and understandable manner.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support\u00a0preparation of\u00a0periodic\u00a0financial presentations for\u00a0Management meeting,\u00a0Board meetings and other stakeholder engagements.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Work with a cross-functional team\u00a0during a\u00a0design and\u00a0implementation\u00a0phase of\u00a0the\u00a0transition to\u00a0a new financial system\u00a0with an\u00a0objective\u00a0to better address the needs of\u00a0an FP&amp;A\u00a0role.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>YOU WILL\u00a0BRING TO THE ROLE:<\/h4>\r\n<em>Qualifications,\u00a0knowledge\u00a0and skills<\/em>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Proven experience (at least\u00a07\u00a0years) in financial planning, financial analysis, and budgeting, preferably in the non-profit sector or NGOs.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strong knowledge of\u00a0financial management\u00a0principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations for NGOs.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Proficiency\u00a0in financial analysis techniques and tools.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strong financial modelling and forecasting abilities.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Advanced\u00a0proficiency\u00a0in MS Excel and\u00a0Power BI tool.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Good\u00a0communication\u00a0skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Ability to\u00a0work independently,\u00a0on own initiative and to deadlines.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Enthusiasm for making efficiency and improvements to existing processes.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Self-motivated, structured working, conceptual thinking, and strategic reasoning, while being hands-on.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Team player with highest levels of ethics and integrity, as well as enthusiasm for the environment.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>YOU WILL\u00a0HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND GROW\u00a0BY:<\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Working within an internationally leading environmental standard at the\u00a0cutting edge\u00a0of climate and sustainable development action.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Working as\u00a0a key member\u00a0of the\u00a0Finance\u00a0Team\u00a0in a period of growth of the organization.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>WHAT WE OFFER:<\/h4>\r\nThe salary\u00a0range\u00a0for this role will be\u00a0commensurate\u00a0with qualifications and experience.\r\n<h4>CLOSING DATE<\/h4>\r\nApplications for this role will\u00a0close on\u00a0<strong>16\u00a0February,\u00a02024<\/strong>.
