Specific Duties:<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop an annual work-plan for Communications Team.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manage the work plans for all communications staff.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide guidance and support to the communications team.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop and submit project ideas.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Event Management (materials, banners, registration list, etc.) for Side-events, street events and career fairs.\r\n\r\n\u00a0<\/strong>Website:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Update and create content for both websites, in French and English\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Establish a handbook\/instruction guideline for maintenance of the new website (how to update content etc.).\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Establish a timeline for website content updates to keep it 'fresh'.\r\n\r\nFacebook, Twitter and Social Media: <\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keep FB &Twitter updated with all developments, actions and achievements.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor the reach of social media platforms to establish best social media strategies.\r\n\r\n\u00a0<\/strong>General:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitate collection of material and development of the quarterly newsletter.\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in day-to-day research supporting the organization's activities (Healthcare, Education and Winterization programs).\r\n\r\n\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Establish guidelines to ensure consistent branding of AfD throughout all digital documents.\r\n

Terms of the Contract:<\/b><\/h4>\r\n\u2219 Please note that this is an unpaid part-time volunteer position\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u2219 Time Commitment: minimum of one day per week, either working in the office or remotely.
