Conduct regular donor scans and maintain prospect and donor database based on research conducted, donor capacity and interest, new funding opportunities, and key donor contacts.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Alert management and programme teams to upcoming opportunities for funding.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Attend IDMC and external networking events for fundraising.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide support in organizing IDMC events for fundraising including its annual donor consultation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Research and develop innovative strategies for fundraising.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support maintenance of donor and prospect list in Salesforce.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Liaise with NRC\u2019s Institutional Partnership Team and External Relations department as needed to enhance fundraising planning and success.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nPlease download the<a href=\"https:\/\/norwegianrefugeecouncil.sharepoint.com\/:w:\/s\/JDsforNRCPeople\/EeYiuoQLIydIsawncfHi1tkBODI0Q5PXRz6DJzQpuj-wKQ?e=TEPwne#xd_co_f=NjYzNGJmZDYtMzIyMi00ZDQ2LWEzODUtOTdkYTg4YTQwNmE0~\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u00a0detailed job description\u00a0t<\/a>o learn more about the position.\r\n<h4><b>What you will bring:<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Minimum 7-10 years fundraising and grants management experience with experience working in the humanitarian and\/or development sector. Field experience is advantageous.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in French or German an advantage.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Preferred master\u2019s degree in international Affairs or Development, Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, Communications, or other relevant studies.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Excellent organisational and computer skills; experience with fundraising or project management such as Salesforce software a plus.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Well documented professional experience with institutional and\/or private donors in writing funding proposals and reporting, drafting budgets and monitoring donor commitments.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience in monitoring and evaluation and reporting against logical frameworks.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><b>What we offer:<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Duty station: NRC Geneva, Brussels, Berlin, or London.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Contract: National permanent contract.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Salary\/benefits: Grade 8 on NRC\u2019s regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>NRC is an equal opportunities employer.
