To reinforce its team, ICI is looking for an Analysis Officer to strengthen the global Learning team in Geneva.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Under the supervision of Knowledge and Learning Director, the Analysis Officer, initially employed on a one-year contract, will increase ICI\u2019s capacity to design and conduct research related to child labour and forced labour and support stakeholders to put learning into action.<\/span>\r\n<h3><span class=\"large_text\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Main tasks and responsibilities<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Analysis<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Process and analyse quantitative data, using Stata, related to needs assessment, programme implementation, outcome and impact measurement<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Review and analyse literature to inform programme design and evaluation<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Develop compelling data visualisation, presentations and written reports\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Synthesise research outputs to develop clear and concise messages and recommendations for internal and external audiences<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Support the development and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation frameworks<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Support the design and development of robust impact evaluations<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Develop, refine and improve data collection tools, building on established good practice, wherever possible<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Support the implementation of field research by ICI teams, independent contractors and universities, including recruitment and training of contractors and field data collection agents<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Capacity building and training<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Support the development of data analysis skills across ICI\u2019s teams in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and Ghana, through training and coaching colleagues<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Identify ways to improve data quality in programme implementation\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Support collaborative learning, through accompanying partners to improve policies, programmes and practices, based needs expressed by partners and on findings from assessments and existing evidence about effective practice<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><span class=\"large_text\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Skills, qualifications and experience<\/span><\/h4>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Solid working knowledge of Stata (skills in R, Python, SPSS or other statistical software an asset)<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Good understanding of inferential and causal design for programme evaluation (experimental designs, quasi-experimental designs such as difference-in-differences, propensity score matching, regression discontinuity design, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Solid econometric skills for deriving robust results from complex socio-economic survey data<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Strong analytic capacity\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Listening and interview skills, including the ability to probe<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">The ability to synthesize key messages, develop and deliver clear presentations to diverse audiences<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Excellent inter-personal skills and strong communication skills\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Education and work experience<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Essential:<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">A relevant master\u2019s degree, or equivalent, in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, International Development, or other relevant fields\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">At least two years of relevant work experience in data analysis, applied research in social science or related fields, monitoring and evaluation or information management<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Proven experience of research design, data processing and analysis, including involvement in field data collection<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Desirable:<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience working with external partners, for example supporting assessments or audits of needs, gaps and capacities, providing training or capacity building<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience with qualitative methods in social research\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience working with hard-to-reach populations and working with sensitive data<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Knowledge of child rights, child labour and forced labour<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Knowledge of the cocoa sector or other types of smallholder agricultural
