The intended purpose of these tasks is to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, according to the agreed specifications, meeting industry quality standards and stakeholder expectations.\u00a0The project is expected to last approximately 9 months with possible extension. Gold Standard is looking to fill this position as soon as possible.\r\n<h4>WHAT WE DO<\/h4>\r\nGold Standard is a standards body and thought leader that promotes the best that can be achieved in climate and development projects. It was established in 2003 by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wwf.panda.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WWF<\/a>\u00a0and other international NGOs as a best practice standard to ensure projects that reduced carbon emissions under the UN\u2019s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) also delivered sustainable development benefits. Today, our standard, \u2018Gold Standard for the Global Goals\u2019, allows climate and development initiatives within carbon markets, corporate supply chains, and sustainable finance to manage, measure and maximise their impacts toward the Net Zero ambition of the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals. Certification against the standard provides the confidence that these results are measured and verified, enabling credible impact reporting. ISEAL Code Compliant and backed by a broad NGO Supporter Network, Gold Standard has 2000+ projects underway in over 90 countries, creating billions of dollars of shared value from climate and development action worldwide.\r\n<h4><strong>Primary\u00a0responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nThe Consultant will\u00a0act as the project manager and serve as the main point of contact between the vendor conducting the technical implementation and the\u00a0Gold Standard\u00a0business stakeholders. The Consultant will\u00a0provide technical and functional guidance, training, and support to the project team and the end-users.\r\n\r\nThe Consultant will perform the following tasks:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Review\u00a0and refine\u00a0the existing business processes and requirements of\u00a0Gold Standard\u00a0and map them to the ERP system functionalities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Assist\u00a0the company in selecting the best vendor for the ERP system implementation, based on the evaluation of the proposals, the demonstration of the system capabilities, and the negotiation of the contract terms and conditions.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Develop a detailed project plan and schedule, including the scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Coordinate and supervise the activities of the project team, including the internal staff, the external vendor, and the stakeholders.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Monitor\u00a0the project budget.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Monitor and report the progress, issues, and challenges of the project and propose solutions and corrective actions.\u00a0Ensure that any changes or deviations are approved and documented.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Identify\u00a0and mitigate the potential risks and issues that may affect the project success, such as technical, functional, organizational, or environmental factors.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Facilitate the communication and collaboration between the vendor and\u00a0Gold Standard\u00a0and ensure that the expectations and requirements are clearly defined and understood.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Support the\u00a0Gold Standard\u00a0business units in requirement definition\u00a0and ensuring these requirements are clearly communicated to the implementing vendor.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Manage\u00a0data migration and\u00a0user acceptance testing.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Ensure the quality, security,\u00a0and compliance of the project deliverables and outputs, such as the system configuration, customization, integration, testing, documentation, and deployment.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Provide technical and functional training and support to the project team and the\u00a0end-users and\u00a0ensure that they are able to use the ERP system effectively and efficiently.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe Consultant role will be based in Geneva Switzerland. Remote work is envisaged, but on-site presence\u00a0is expected.\r\n<h4>Required qualifications<\/h4>\r\nThe Consultant should have the following qualifications and experience:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A master's degree or equivalent in business administration, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>At least\u00a05\u00a0years of experience in managing and implementing ERP projects, preferably based on Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Proven\u00a0experience\u00a0in the\u00a0nonprofit sector\u00a0and\u00a0their\u00a0business processes and requirements.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Strong technical and functional skills in the ERP system configuration, customization, integration, testing, documentation, and deployment.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders, such as the internal staff, the external vendor, and the end-users.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Familiarity with Xero is a plus.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Fluency in English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Relevant certifications such as\u00a0MB-920,\u00a0MB-310,\u00a0MB-500,\u00a0MB-700\u00a0are a plus.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>Anticipated outputs:<\/h4>\r\nThe Consultant will be\u00a0accountable\u00a0for delivering the following\u00a0outputs:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A business process and requirements analysis report, outlining the current and future state of the company's operations and how they align with the ERP system functionalities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A project plan and schedule, detailing the scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies of the project.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A project status report, providing regular updates on the progress, issues, and challenges of the project and the proposed solutions and corrective actions.
