Organisation: <\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\r\nMercy Hands Europe (MHEU) is an international non-profit based in Geneva, Switzerland, since 2019. Our mission is to empower vulnerable populations in disaster-affected areas, including Iraq, Syria, and Ethiopia, through sustainable projects and partnerships. We focus on education, protection, health, justice, agriculture, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), emergency response, and livelihoods.<\/span>\r\n

Position:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\r\nMercy Hands Europe is seeking a Project Manager Intern to join our Agriculture and Education Department. The intern will be responsible for managing two projects simultaneously:<\/span>\r\n
    \r\n \t
  1. Digital Library Service for Ethiopian Youth (Ethiopia):<\/strong><\/span> This project aims to provide free and accessible educational resources in local languages, empowering Ethiopian youth with equitable learning opportunities through a digital platform.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Water, Animals, and Plants for a Sustainable Ethiopia:<\/strong> This project targets rural populations in Ethiopia, with a focus on women. It aims to support sustainable agriculture through the provision of animals, plants, and land rehabilitation, ensuring stable food sources and the empowerment of women.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  3. You will also be responsible for developing the second edition<\/strong> of the Water, Animals, and Plants for a Sustainable Ethiopia<\/strong> project.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nThese internships offer a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing international development projects focused on agriculture, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.<\/span>\r\n\r\nLocation:<\/strong> Geneva, Switzerland (in person)<\/span>\r\nDuration:<\/strong> 6 months<\/span>\r\nWorking Hours:<\/strong> 25 hours\/week \u2014 in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (full days), plus 4 hours of remote work<\/span>\r\nStart Date:<\/strong> As soon as possible<\/span>\r\nCompensation:<\/strong> CHF 250\/month<\/span>\r\nApplication Deadline:<\/strong> 2 May 2025<\/span>\r\n
