Its mission is to enhance access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the globe, thus responding to a gap long identified by survivors. GSF acts to provide interim reparative measures in situations where states or other parties are unable or unwilling to meet their responsibilities. GSF advocates for duty bearers as well as the international community to develop reparations programmes. It also guides states and civil society by providing expertise and technical support for designing reparations programmes. GSF’s survivor-centric approach is the cornerstone of its work.

Enabling GSF data-driven decision-making

At GSF, from our early start, we have been keen to structure, collect and store our data in a way that enables us to monitor our activity, demonstrate the fulfilment of our strategy, our impact and to meet GDPR obligations. Meanwhile, with our considerable “start-up” growth in the last years, and in line with the 2024-2030 strategy, GSF needs to establish the right basis to enable data-driven decision making to continue in the future by:

Establishing a Master Data Management (MDM) methodology

The implementation of an Information Management System (IMS) to manage and track the Contact Management System (CMS), fundraising pipeline, incoming grants, outgoing grants, & programmes/projects.

Developing a global reporting solution to strengthening GSF financial analysis and cross referencing with programme management, programme output and outcome information.

Intern’s responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for leading the development of the MDM methodology, coordination of the data management and development of the reporting solution.
