Your Mission<\/b><\/h2>\r\nAs Fundraising Engagement Associate, you will support the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer in developing the strategic fundraising narrative of the Institute and related internal & external engagement with the Institute\u2019s stakeholders network, including partners and donors, on top of contributing to the effective management and smooth functioning of the team and the Institute.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n

Your Responsibilities<\/b><\/h2>\r\nUnder the leadership of the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer, the Fundraising Engagement Associate will:<\/span>\r\n
    \r\n \t
  • Support the implementation of the fundraising communications strategy by doing marketing research and identifying relevant income streams and donor prospects<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Pitch\/convey the organization\u2019s mission, vision and programs with a deep understanding of the work of the Institute in such a way that complex technical issues could be transformed into engaging relatable and understandable human stories\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Produce some high quality fundraising related promotional materials in written or multimedia format to attract and convince partners, donors, and funders to support us<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms, including events, social media, blogs, and websites<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Develop letters of interests, grant applications, proposals, award applications etc. to submit funding applications<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Support in managing relationships with current & future identified donors, from identification to stewardship including regular communications and adherence to reporting timelines.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Support the fundraising internal communication and liaise with various departments within the Institute to collect and present relevant information to stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Support with organization and attendance of fundraising related meetings and events.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Manage and update the internal donor management system and ensure all prospective and current donor details are accurately recorded in the donor database.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Ensure regular communications and adherence to reporting timelines with donors.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    Your Experience, Skills and Attribute<\/b><\/h2>\r\n
      \r\n \t
    • Previous experience (min. 2 years) in storytelling, communications, journalism, marketing, sales,<\/span> fundraising, reporting, writing proposals, grant applications (preferably in an NGO)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Studies relevant to fundraising responsibilities, like in business management\/development, economics, marketing, communications, international relations, international human rights, international security studies, cybersecurity, or related field<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Fluency in English and ideally French, spoken and written<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Creativity in telling content\/stories with emotions, in writing and multimedia format<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Knowledge of full MS Office Package and design\/marketing tools (Canva, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Attention to detail\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from varied backgrounds, at all management levels\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Ability to coordinate with departments, organize and prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Knowledge in the cybersecurity field is an asset<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Demonstrated commitment to work in NGOs - nonprofit sector<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      • Duration: indefinite<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Working rate: full-time (ideally) or at least 80%<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
