We work with people\u00a0affected by violent conflicts to enhance their security and dignity through unarmed civilian protection (UCP). We\u00a0work to reduce violence and protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath and to help\u00a0transform the world\u2019s response to conflict situations.\r\n<h3><strong>JOB SUMMARY<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nThe Programme Development Office (PDO) will play a key role in supporting NP\u2019s programme development efforts by maintaining internal systems, funding portals, and the development of program proposals and concept notes. Working under the guidance of the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager, the PDO will help streamline project development processes, track funding opportunities, and support program teams to deliver quality proposals and partnerships. The role also assists in maintaining key operational resources and systems that support program development.\r\n<h3><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<strong>Project Development Support \u00a0<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Monitor grant opportunities and funding platforms, regularly sharing relevant information with country teams and relevant staff.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support the development of project proposals and concept notes, ensuring documents, budgets, and compliance requirements are complete and submitted on time.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Organize and track deadlines for proposals and reports, offering feedback and assistance during preparation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Collaborate with in-country teams to support their project development and grant application efforts.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Due Diligence Donor Compliance<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Support due diligence efforts by gathering and maintaining essential documentation to meet donor and organizational requirements.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in initial compliance assessments and reviews of proposals, helping ensure proposal submissions comply with donor standards.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ensure adherence to financial and due diligence standards by updating compliance records and ensuring complete documentation for internal and donor audits and due diligence assessments.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Internal PD Systems<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Manage access to donor portals and funding platforms, ensuring seamless information flow.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Utilize Salesforce to track contacts, managing data and emails, and support project cycle management.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Contribute to the development and implementation of internal program development processes.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support Program Development teams in reviewing and tailoring grant-related documents as needed.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support internal reporting and gather insights to enhance program development strategies.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL) Support<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Assist with MEAL processes, including tracking and analyzing program performance metrics in Salesforce.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Track and analyse program performance and impact metrics in Salesforce, ensuring that data is captured efficiently for reporting and learning purposes, when requested.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support documentation of lessons learned, case studies, and results for reporting and knowledge sharing.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Partnership Support<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Facilitate the implementation and use of NP\u2019s Partnerships Management Toolkit to identify, develop, and strengthen quality partnerships in line with NP\u2019s responsible partnerships framework.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support country programmes with identifying capacity strengthening, organizational development opportunities and policy and systems review as it pertains to partnerships management.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support with integrating internal NP resources into partner and country programme workflows, compile and help systemize existing resources, facilitate their sharing with said partners.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Keep track of relevant technical, operational, and finance related issues and, where and when necessary, facilitate support from HQ to ensure continuous support to partners.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A degree in International Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
