The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Geneva (the official representation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China at the World Trade Organization)

is hiring an Office Manager

Duty List

  • To be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the office building, including liaison with suppliers and services providers and management of the relevant contracts.
  • To be responsible for the procurement of stores and inventory management of the office building and the official residence.
  • To assist in the day-to-day management of the office’s accounting arrangements, including liaison with banks and arranging payments, preparing budget estimates and monitoring its financial position.
  • To supervise the IT technician and oversee the office’s overall IT operation.
  • To be responsible for other general administrative assignments and liaison with the Swiss authorities on office administration matters.

Qualities and experience required

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at managerial rank in office management and accounting.
  • Work experience with missions and international organisations in Switzerland is an advantage.
  • Eligibility to take up employment in Switzerland.

Remuneration

  • CHF 75,068 or above per annum depending on relevant experience.
  • Fringe benefits (medical insurance coverage, paid sick leave, vacation leave, etc.) included.
