We are looking for passionate candidates ready to contribute to our humanitarian mission.

This internship is part of an academic training program, a professional training program, or a socio-professional integration program, and must comply with the conditions set by the Employment Market Supervisory Council (CSME). The duration of the internship, as defined by the tripartite agreement, is 6 to 12 months at 100%

The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers supported by 24 sections and offices worldwide. MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centers.

Expected Outcomes

  • A fully operationalized pipeline on JIRA (or other solution) that enhances MSF's ability to act on insights efficiently.
  • Improved decision-making autonomy and workforce capacity within MSF.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Work closely with IT specialists and the project manager.
  • Assist in operationalizing the I2A pipeline on JIRA (or other solution), ensuring structured processes and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including field staff, medical and IT team to facilitate workshops and hackathons.
  • Support the implementation of design thinking and agile methodologies across project streams.

Your profile

  • Have a tripartite internship agreement
  • English and French: excellent writing and communication skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, computer science, information system, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with agile principles and design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools, especially JIRA, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Understanding of international organizations and their operational challenges is a plus.

Terms of employment

  • A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory
  • 6 months, according to internship agreement
  • Full time (40h/week)
  • Based in Geneva, Switzerland
  • Start date : July 2025
  • Gross monthly remuneration 2'000.- CHF
