About the UATC

Since June 2023, these organizations have combined their expertise and networks to implement a collective program aimed at strengthening and expanding the anti-torture movement.
UATC Regional Partners meeting in Africa

Following initial online consultation sessions in May 2025 with partners from across the globe, the UATC will organise an in-person two-days regional meeting in Africa to build on these discussions. The meeting aims to further assess how the Consortium’s work has supported its partners, to identify the needs, priorities and expectations of local partners, and to define how the work of the UATC can be strengthened for the final months of the project and a possible future phase.
This two-day event is planned for October 2025 and will bring together 40 to 50 participants from across the African continent and Europe.
