Are you passionate about promoting tolerance, inclusion, and peace worldwide? Do you have proven experience in project writing and an excellent command of English to craft clear, compelling, and impactful proposals and reports?
We are seeking a Volunteer Project Writer to join our team in Geneva for the International Decade of Tolerance (2025–2035) initiative — a global campaign dedicated to advancing education for tolerance, social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and respect for human dignity.
Your Role:
- Write, edit, and refine project proposals, grant applications, reports, and advocacy materials
- Collaborate with team members to develop persuasive and accessible content for diverse audiences
- Assist in documenting and communicating project progress and outcomes to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- University degree in international affairs, communications, social sciences, humanities, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in project writing, proposal development, or similar work
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to provide a writing sample (e.g., project proposal, report, or related document) during the application process
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in-person with an international team based in Geneva
