Are you passionate about digital media and design? Do you want to contribute your creative skills to support an organization working for peace, tolerance, and global cooperation?
We are looking for a Volunteer Web Designer & Social Media Officer to join our Geneva-based team and strengthen our online presence and communications strategy.
Your Role:
- Design and maintain website pages with clear, engaging, and responsive layouts
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, accessible, and visually aligned with our mission
- Develop and schedule compelling content across social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- Monitor engagement and trends; help shape strategies to grow our online community
- Create graphics, visuals, and short videos to support campaigns and announcements
- Coordinate with the team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding
Qualifications:
- University degree in web design, communications, media, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in website development and/or social media management
- Proficiency in platforms such as WordPress, HTML/CSS, Canva, and social media tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite)
- Excellent command of English; other languages are an asset
- Ability to provide a portfolio or examples of web/social media work
- Comfortable working in-person with an international team based in Geneva
- Creative, detail-oriented, and reliable
